God
cannot be seen with Human eyes, God can choose to reveal himself to us and He
does so not only in His word, His creation but also in the person of Jesus
Christ, (God in the Flesh). God's creation demonstrates His existence, His word
gives us a means by which we can study and get to know Him. It is through the
spirit that we build our relationship with God, being changed in the inner man.
That change can be evident in those who have accepted Jesus Christ has their
Lord and Savior.
God has no
image; therefore we should direct our worship to God not to man made symbols of
worship. His son Jesus Christ points us toward God and by His death and
resurrection has provided for us access to God for those that believe in the
name of Christ Jesus.
John 4:24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
1st Corinthians 2:10
But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
1st Corinthians 2:11
For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
Luke 24:39
Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
Romans 1:20
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
1st Timothy 1:17
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
