hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who
built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the
winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its
foundation on the rock."

Thoughts on Today's
Verse...
Jesus' teachings are foundational
for meaningful lives, lives rich in peace, humility, forgiveness, and grace,
with a love of neighbour and self. Many people are drawn to other ways of life,
ways that one might argue have a strong foundation, but Christ's way cannot be
improved upon.
