God
is Eternal
Eternity
means lasting or enduring through all time. The Bible tells us our God is a God
who was, is and is to come. The Bible refers to God as everlasting, the Ancient
of Days. Before time God was, He has always been here and He will continue to
be here long after the things of man are gone.
Since
God does not have an end we should remember He will always be there with us
regardless of our circumstances. He will always be there to comfort and guide
us.
1st Timothy 1:17
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Deuteronomy 33:27
The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.
1st John 5:20
And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
1st Peter 5:10
But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
