Path is used here to describe people, like many of
the religious leaders refuse to believe God’s message. Rock is used here to
describe, like many in the crowd who followed Jesus, believed His messge but
never get around to doing anything about it. Thorn patch is used here to
describe people, overcome by worries and the lure of materialism, left no room
in their lives for God. Good soil is used here to describe people, in contrast
to all the other groups followed Jesus no matter what the cost.
