Thoughts for 12Jul2012 # 2101 Perseverance We ask God to grant us perseverance in winning others for His kingdom. We ask God to keep us persistent in following His instructions for our lives, as recorded in the Scriptures. Romans 2:7 To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honour and immortality, he will give eternal life. Romans 15:4-5 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus. Luke 21:19 Staying with it -- that's what is required.
