Discipline
God disciplines us because HE loves us. HIS purpose is not to harm us but to bring us to maturity, so our lives will be characterized by righteousness and peace. We should not complain but we should thank GOD for loving us enough to make us what HE wants us to be. HE wants us to be like HIS son Jesus.
When we stray, HE is grieved. He disciplines us to help us to see HIS way.
Hebrew 12 : 11
No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
