To be good vessels for His purpose
When we become stained, tarnished and dirtied by the world and by our failures, we ask God to grant us his forgiveness and purify us, to make us good vessels for His awesome presence within us.
2 Corinthians 4:7
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
