Spiritual discipline
We ask God to guide and direct us toward developing the spiritual discipline to examine ourselves and to correct all the faults that we have. We ask that God strengthens us so that we may walk in harmony with His will.
Luke 18:11-12
The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: "God, I thank you that I am not like other men -- robbers, evildoers, adulterers -- or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get."
