Our weakness and inadequacy
God knows our weakness and inadequacy as we come up short when He calls on us or depends on us. We ask God to keep us protected and to teach us how to be prepared when the need arises.
Matthew 25:1-5
At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. Remove all obstacles
God helps us to renounce obstacles in our lives that prevent us from becoming the children He created us to be. We ask God to work on us and continue to reveal any of the old that obstructs us from being transformed into a new identity – one on and in which He can dwell in.

We seek God to help us to be positive about things in our lives, to fill our minds with praise and help us to see the beautiful things in life.

Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious -- the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.

Help the non-believers
We ask God to help our non-believers to discover and believe that Jesus died for our sins. To grant them this understanding, be healed and to accept Jesus as their Savior.

We turn to God to search our heart, to call us and help us hear His voice and to rescue us when we are in need of help. We trust God who has given us hope where there is horror, joy where there is judgment, peace where there is disturbance and disruptions.
