The joy of worship
Do you have an enthusiasm for worship ?
We sometimes lack the joy of worship. Why?
• we have not kept up with our pledge to worship
• we feel unworthy
• we worship because we feel duty-bound
• we want to avoid criticism or excommunication from the church
• we want freedom - to worship as and when we feel like it
• we want to worship the traditional way, more comfortable
• we are bored to the same old routine at worship, we want excitement
The results of the above causes
• No gladness in worship when we are afraid.
• No gladness in worship when we are stubborn.
• No gladness in worship when we are bored.
Psalm 122 : 1
