Acceptable conduct
The purpose of having rules is to inform or remind you of how you are to conduct yourself in a particular environment.
1 Timothy 3:1–13, mark specific “rules.”
“Be blameless” followed by statements on marital fidelity, temper, self-discipline, hospitality and gossip.
It is always easier to apply rules to others. How does your life measure up to this standard ?

Although I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions so that, if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God's household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.
