Faith is an issue of pure trust. There was no looking at data and then coming up with a guess. It was just childlike trust.
We sometimes feel that if one does not know the Bible they cannot have faith, or if one does not know doctrines and theology one cannot have faith. We must remember that it is faith like a child that allows people to approach God. We just need to trust and believe in what God has said. We need to take the plunge because we know that God will be there for us.
Matthew 19:14
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
