Do you search the Scriptures, or do you only skim them?
Do you dwell on a passage till you bring out some meaning, or till you can carry away some memorable truth or immediate lesson?
Or do you fly along only on the lookout for novelty?
Does the Word of God dwell in you richly ?
Are you like a butterfly which dance from flower to flower or a bee darts down here and there and sips wherever he can find a drop of nectar. The bee alights everywhere and wherever he alights he either finds honey or makes it. The butterfly has no patience for such details and soon fade along with the flowers while the bee is warm in his hive amid the flagrant harvest which he gathered.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
