We must give thanks to God for everything, the good and the bad that come to our lives. By doing this, we do not ignore the pain and loss in our lives, but also to declare that in all things God is working. We know that life is difficult and we need to accept this fact and get on with our lives.
Ephesians 5:20
Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
