Yes, He is still in control. In those hours of darkness when we think that everything has caved in on us, God has not forgotten about us. He is still at work bringing about a brilliant plan for our lives. Sometimes God has to bring us to the end of our resources before He can show us His unlimited resources. Sometimes God has to destroy our confidence in ourselves before He can teach us to trust in Him alone. Through those times of despair, remember, God has not forgotten you. He is still at work.
Psalm 42:11
Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God.
