Taking for granted

There are many wonderful common things which we always take for granted · the intricate and delicate ways in which our lungs steadily and silently work to take in fresh air· the way our hearts work untiringly, pumping great quantities of clean blood through the network of blood vessels· the way our body temperature is regulated, varying less than one degree· the ways temperature vary from different geographical zones but never so much as to destroy lives· the way time changes from day to night and seasons. Man continues to make plans accordingly· the wide range of food available from the farm, the fields, the forest, the sea all work out to fulfill our differing desires and needs· the beauty of nature continues to amaze us· the refreshment that sleep brings· the comfort of homes and the warmth of relationships All these are made possible because of God
