Fear and trembling

We must ask God
to help us to obey His Word, not only in the presence of other followers of Christ but even more when they are absent, when there's no one there but ourselves.

to be with us as we work out our salvation with fear and trembling, lest we should ever think that we have earned it. After all, it is God, who is at work within us, both causing us to do His good purpose and to purpose His good deeds.

Philippians 2:12-13
Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed— not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence— continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.
